Online Payment Processing Module (OPPM)
Safe, Secure Collection of Receivables, via Your Existing Website
Accepting credit and debit card payment for Receivables is a growing trend. In exchange
for a processing fee, your invoice is paid instantly. The potential problems associated with checks
are eliminated.
Common Situations
Almost all companies have common, recurring situations in which the “normal” A/R practices are less than ideal.
- First time and one time customers
- Accounts that historically make very few, or smaller than average purchases
- Currency conversion and exchange rates for customers outside the U.S.
- No simple method of quick collection, or partial payment, on past due accounts
Many companies have partially solved these situations by becoming authorized credit card processors.

All credit card processing providers charge fees. Some charge monthly recurring fees
even when there is nothing processed during that period. Not all providers are Merchant friendly, a
major reason we selected PayPal as the processor for our OPPM.
Even if you pay no fees whatsoever, you still have labor costs, and the associated
expenses and overhead for whomever does the processing. Is this the best use of their time? Worst of
all... you still have all of the liability!

How the OPPM Works
- Client must be an RBR Associates’ Web Client
- The interface is skinned (customized) to match the client's Website, reinforcing your business brand
- RBR Associates installs the OPPM on the Webserver
- Administration and maintenance are provided by RBR Associates (we have no access to your confidential information, or transaction data)

The payor enters:
- Total payment amount
- Identifying information, but no credit card data
- Invoice numbers to apply payment against
- The OPPM notifies your designated recipient(s) a payment is in process
- The payor clicks: “Proceed to PayPal”
- At the PayPal site, the payor provides credit card information
- If the transaction is completed, the payor and your designated recipient(s) receive an email from PayPal with transaction information, but no credit card data
- The payment is posted to your PayPal Merchant account, minus the fee(s)
- The payor is returned to your Website and thanked for making the payment
