C.E.D. Process Minerals Launches New Product

C.E.D. Process Minerals, Inc. (an RBR Associates’ client) recently completed the development of their newest product: CristolBrite. Cristolbrite is a high purity silica, produced from synthesized cristobalite. Cristobalite is C.E.D.’s original and primary product. The development of CristolBrite opens-up at least six entirely new markets, in which C.E.D., is virtually unknown.

RBR Associates worked with C.E.D. to develop the marketing strategy for CristolBrite as well as the marketing materials necessary to communicate their message to each unique market. “With this product (marketing-wise) we started with virtually a clean slate,” said a C.E.D. spokesman, “RBR Associates is working closely with us each step of the way.”

RBR Associates and C.E.D. share the duties associated with the new marketing efforts. The majority of the creative development is handled by RBR Associates. The CristolBrite logo was the first assignment. Its concept grew from the C.E.D. logo, just as CristolBrite grew from C.E.D.’s original product: cristobalite.

“We recommended a data sheet format using the front to specifically address each target markets unique requirements," said RBR Associates, “the headline and the pointed visual alone convey the essence of the message. The back of the data sheet contains product information common to all markets served. It does not need to be ‘re-invented’ for each market, thus saving C.E.D. money in the long run."
